- On Friday, September 9th I picked up
Willie Parker in one of my fantasy leagues. I am KICKING myself for
not doing it in my other league. What a sleeper. With
Deuce and Jerome for Pitt down and a run heavy game, an anemic
pre-season and my knowledge of Willie from the end of the prior season
I thought this was a gamble worth taking. I even played him to
my amazement.
- Two teams that are run heavy worth
watching - Carolina and Tennessee. You can't justify a round 1
pickup of either running back due to split time (Deshaun Foster and
Steven Davis and Chris Brown and Travis Henry.) I have several
of them as back-ups and will pair down as I deem appropriate. My
gut says Davis is the guy to keep.
- Mike Anderson - going to rush for 1000
yards this year? Griffin and Clarett have been dropped leaving
Anderson, Bell and Dayne as the lone guys in a team that generates big
rushers each year. The key is, can Plummer throw worth a crap so
their opponents don't stack 8 guys in the box, making it near
impossible to get big yards.
- Caulpepper is TOAST without
Moss. Just watch this unfold....
